STOWE GARDENS

From October 2023 to January 7th, 2024, 200 of the 1,475 life-size D-Day soldier silhouettes were showcased within the natural landscape surrounding Octagon Lake and Sleeping Wood in the scenic National Trust gardens at Stowe. Starting on October 1st, 2024, and running through November 11th, 2024, the full installation, titled "For Your Tomorrow" and previously displayed at the British Normandy Memorial in Ver-sur-Mer, France, will be on view, featuring all 1,475 D-Day silhouettes.

This installation alongside our Tommy silhouettes includes 13 new designs, all created from British soldiers who were part of the D-Day landings in 1944.

This moving statement of commemoration, remembrance, and honour offers visitors a space to reflect and connect.

Our installations are handmade and created by our community-based charity project to raise understanding and appreciation of our freedom and to remember and pay tribute to those who gave their lives so we could live ours today.
